Olsen Avenue CCC
The Olsen Avenue Community Children’s Centre originated as the result of an idea formulated by the Gold Coast City Council and Department of Child Safety.
The aim was to provide child care at an affordable rate. To ensure the centre remains a non-profit organisation, its operation was placed in the hands of a Parents Committee. The Parents Committee consists of a group of individuals whose children attend the OACCC and who are prepared to volunteer their time and energy to overseeing the operations of the centre and to making the important decisions necessary for the ongoing well being of the centre.
“Non-profit” means that all the money generated from the parents fees is ploughed back into the Centre in the form of new equipment and resources; extra staff as required to help with the everyday running of the Centre; parent resources and support in the form of meetings and other gatherings and lunch for the children provided at no cost to parents.

We have incredible outdoor play areas to cater for each of our four rooms. We have plenty of space and a healthy balance of toys and natural surroundings. Children are very much at home at our centre. They spend a lot of their time here outside and we wish to ensure that these spaces are highly used to their fullest! We believe that the children develop better with play based learning activities and our staff are skilled to see that this is delivered daily! For further information please call us today!
