MISS SHIRLEY

Educator

Working within the Early Childhood Education Industry has been a long awaited and exciting passion of mine. Being a child takes me back to the feeling of how much fun, freedom and playing was harmonious and timeless. I resigned from my office based job and honoured to be able to pursue a career in early childhood education with Olsen Avenue Community Children’s Centre. I have always wanted to work with young children and people, and supporting community initiatives.

MISS SARAH

Educator

Hi my name is Sarah I started at Olsen Avenue when I was 19years. I was educated at Saint Francis Xavier and Trinity Lutheran College. I have worked three of which is at this centre. I’m currently studying my Diploma as I wish to become a group leader in the near future. I love working with children and watching them grow and learn each day. This is the first time I have worked in a community centre and I understand a huge difference in the parent involvement and how the money generated by fees is put back into the centre.
