Welcome, my name is Alana, I have had the privilege of working at Olsen Avenue Community Children’s Centre since December 2003, and during my time here have worked my way up from an assistant educator, Educator, Assistant director and now to the Director. This place feels like home and I hope that you too have a sense of belonging when you visit our centre.
Olsen Avenue CCC
Welcome to Olsen Avenue Community Children’s Centre (OACCC) and thank you for considering our centre to care for and educate your child/ren. We understand that the selection process and criteria of a child care centre can be a very difficult decision to make that’s why the Management and Staff of OACCC endeavour to make every effort to ensure you feel comfortable with the decision you have made. After all, choosing a childcare centre is the first step in your child’s education regime and we want to make it both enjoyable and memorable.

Meet Our Staff
Hi my name is Sarah I started at Olsen Avenue when I was 19years. I was educated at Saint Francis Xavier and Trinity Lutheran College. I have worked three of which is at this centre.
I’m currently studying my Diploma as I wish to become a group leader in the near future. I love working with children and watching them grow and learn each day.
This is the first time I have worked in a community centre and I understand a huge difference in the parent involvement and how the money generated by fees is put back into the centre.
